Need: Articulate goals of and develop a strategic approach to measurement and monitoring of DFAT’s portfolio of blended finance initiatives
Response: Co-create and co-implement a program to inform future BF investments in the Indo-Pacific region. A Moonshot–DFAT team is working to:
- Strengthen DFAT’s leadership in the Indo-Pacific region on catalyzing private capital for gender-focused and inclusive development by developing knowledge products and best practice tools tailored to the Indo-Pacific context.
- Develop and apply cutting edge impact measurement and management approaches across the portfolio.
- Develop and carry out a portfolio-level learning agenda, including development of the first-ever Blended Finance Review.
- Establish systems for ongoing portfolio monitoring and reporting.
