Francisco Álvarez Roca, based in Madrid, brings 12+ years of experience in investment-related advisory services and nongovernmental organization program development and fundraising. He leads Moonshot Global’s Investment Advisory practice. Francisco has regional experience in Latin America and the Caribbean, West Africa, and Central Asia and has implemented projects in 30+ countries, including designing an apparel sector investor outreach campaign in Haiti, which resulted in commitment by 6 companies of announced investments of US$100 million and 23,000 jobs, and assessing the regulatory framework for the rice, cocoa, and palm oil sectors in Cote d’Ivoire. Previously, Francisco was Director of International Cooperation for Latin America and the Caribbean at TECHO where he led partnership creation and fundraising and worked at the Investment Climate Department of the World Bank Group, designing, planning, and implementing projects to assist investment promotion agencies in improving services to investors. He holds a masters in International Business from CECO and a BA in English Literature and Linguistics from University of Seville and is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
