Tendai Gumbie, based in the Pacific, brings 13+ years of development experience in monitoring, evaluation, learning, and adaptation (MELA). His expertise spans across blended finance, education, health, inclusive digital finance, and labor mobility. His experience is in Southern Africa and the Pacific. Tendai was Moonshot’s evidence, learning, and impact lead on the Pacific Agreement on Closer Economic Relations (PACER) Plus program for two years and currently contributes across Moonshot’s global portfolio of projects. He specializes in data visualization and analysis and reporting.
Tendai holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Johannesburg and a post-graduate diploma in monitoring and evaluation from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He is fluent in English, Shona, Xhosa, and Zulu.
