Bob Ale is based in Apia, Samoa, and has 13 years of community and international development experience. He managed the design, implementation and evaluation of several complex programs funded by the the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Samoa in the area of economic and public sector governance, infrastructure, private sector-led development and climate change, and disaster risk management. Bob has a passion for people-centred development and comes with extensive grassroots level experience in applying participatory and consultative approaches to development programming and evaluation. He has a Masters of Development Studies from the National University of Samoa and a Master of Evaluation from the University of Melbourne.
