Need: Enable teachers and parents to provide feedback on key issues related to national and provincial education sector reform
Response: Developed and rolled out interactive voice response mobile data collection system and dashboard that served as a social accountability mechanism for the national government that was rolling out education sector reforms, in partnership with Voto Mobile, now Viamo
- Identified and trained civil society partners to train parents on the accountability mechanism
- Developed branding
- Designed and managed information campaign in four languages
- Delivered training to parents and teachers in over 300 schools (Tshikapa, Ngaliema, N’sele)
- Built capacity of government to manage and respond to feedback and operate the system
